Are caravan holidays suitable for a 2-year-old?

Thinking about booking a caravan holiday but I'm a bit worried about whether it's practical with an energetic 2-year-old. Are statics generally toddler-friendly? Things like stairs to the bedrooms, safety with the gas cooker, that sort of thing?

We've been caravanning with our two since they were babies and honestly it's been great. A few things to consider: - Most statics are single-storey so no stairs to worry about - Ask the owner if they have a travel cot or high chair (many do) - Bring a stair gate to block off the kitchen area if needed - The gas cooker knobs usually have child locks but bring some removable knob covers just in case - Caravan parks usually have playgrounds and entertainment which is perfect for toddlers Take the usual precautions you would at home and it'll be fine. Our two-year-old loves it more than any fancy hotel we've stayed at!
