My top 5 tips for getting more bookings on Caravanvio

After listing our caravan on Caravanvio for 2 full seasons, here are the 5 things that made the biggest difference to our booking rate: **1. Photos, photos, photos.** Can't stress this enough. We went from 6 photos taken on an iPhone to 25+ professional-looking photos and our enquiries tripled. Show every room, show the view, show the deck. Good lighting is everything - take them on a sunny day. **2. Be honest about negatives.** Got a slightly awkward parking spot? Mention it. Near a road? Say so. Guests appreciate honesty and it avoids bad reviews later. **3. Price competitively for your first few bookings.** We deliberately priced about 15% below similar listings for our first 3 bookings to build up reviews. Worked a treat. **4. Respond FAST.** I've got notifications set up and I reply to enquiries within 2 hours whenever possible. Guests tell me they booked with us specifically because we were the first to respond. **5. The little extras.** We leave a welcome pack (tea, coffee, milk, biscuits) and a folder with local recommendations. Costs us about £5 per booking but guests mention it in nearly every review.
