Best time of year to service your static caravan?

Hey everyone! I've had my static for about 18 months now and I'm wondering when the best time is to get the annual service done. I've heard mixed things - some say spring before the season kicks off, others say autumn after the summer rush. What do you all do? I'm based in North Wales if that makes any difference.

I always book mine for late February or early March - well before the Easter rush. The engineers are usually quieter then and you can get a slot within a week or two rather than waiting a month. Plus if anything needs fixing, you've got time before the season really starts. Been doing it that way for 6 years with our Willerby in Pembrokeshire and never had an issue.

Autumn here. I get mine done in October after the summer bookings wind down. The logic is: if the engineer finds anything that's worn out from heavy summer use, it gets fixed before winter when damp can really do damage. It's also cheaper - some mobile engineers offer off-peak rates from October through January.
