Replacing decking - treated timber vs composite?

Our decking is starting to look a bit tired after 4 years. Trying to decide between replacing it with treated timber again or going for composite. Has anyone made the switch? Composite is a lot more expensive upfront but I've heard it lasts much longer with zero maintenance.

We switched to composite about 2 years ago and honestly it's been brilliant. No staining, no splinters, no warping. Yes it cost more upfront - about 40% more - but when you factor in never having to sand, stain or replace boards every few years it pays for itself. Only downside is it can get quite hot underfoot in direct sun, so if your deck faces south you might want a lighter colour.
