Camping in France - anyone rented a static there?

We're thinking about trying a static caravan holiday in France next summer - somewhere on the west coast, maybe Brittany or the Vendée. Has anyone rented a static over there? How does it compare to UK parks in terms of facilities, pricing and general experience?

We did a week in the Vendée a couple of years ago - the park was called Le Bois Masson near Saint-Jean-de-Monts. Absolutely loved it. The weather was obviously better than the UK, the pool complex was amazing (multiple slides, lazy river), and the site was really well maintained. Price-wise it was actually slightly cheaper than an equivalent UK holiday, though you've got ferry costs to factor in. Would definitely go back.
