Haven vs Parkdean Resorts - honest comparison from someone who's done both

We've done 3 Haven holidays and 2 Parkdean ones over the past few years, so here's a quick comparison for anyone trying to choose: **Haven:** Better pools generally, more entertainment options, sites tend to be bigger with more facilities. The activity booking system works well. Food in the restaurants is decent but pricey. Better for kids aged 4-12 I'd say. **Parkdean:** Generally cheaper, a bit less polished but the sites are often in nicer locations. Less commercial feel. Entertainment is more basic but the staff were friendlier in our experience. Better if you want a quieter base to explore from. We slightly prefer Haven for family holidays but Parkdean for couples or if you're mainly using it as a base for day trips.
