Skegness gets a lot of stick but I honestly think it's a bit unfair. Yes it's not the most glamorous seaside town in Britain, but for a family caravan holiday it's got everything - beaches, amusement arcades, Fantasy Island, Natureland Seal Sanctuary, and some genuinely good fish and chips. We go once a year and the kids always have a great time. Anyone else a secret Skegness fan?

Ha, I'll admit it - we actually quite like Skegness too. It's affordable, the beach is massive (if a bit bracing!), and there's genuinely loads to do within a short drive. It's not Cornwall, but it doesn't pretend to be. The Lincolnshire Wolds nearby are beautiful too if you want a break from the seaside.
